Another instance was her reading Marnie' s diary Sayaka presented about her parties and nightly boat rides, and so on. In the sequence, we can see she was telling Anna stories of her back when she became stranded at the silo on the hill. Later when Yoriko presents a photo of the marsh house to Anna, she has another flashback and finally remembers who Marnie was. This gives us a bigger idea on how she can create an image of an imaginary friend. We know that Anna had a doll that looked very identical to Marnie, but it was never fully exposed back in one of her flashbacks after she was left in the silo. Glad you came, you picked the right blog to have me answer those questions. "why is Anna so surprised when Sayaka mentions Marnie' s name?" "How did she suddenly forget and then remember her grandmother?" Now, we all know why Anna created Marnie and made an imaginary friend, not to feel lonely, or have someone to talk to, you get the drill. ![]() Anyway, this will contain some opinions, so take this theory with a pinch of salt. ![]() ![]() His L-shaped desk wraps around two walls, and he keeps his reading and research material in neat stacks on top of it along with the notepads he uses to write his books by hand.
